1. Who these terms apply to
These Terms of Service govern access to the Sckool360 website and school management platform (the "Service"). "Sckool360", "we" and "us" refer to the provider of the Service. "You" means the person using it and, where you are authorised to act for a school or organisation, that organisation.
By accepting these terms when creating a school workspace, you confirm that you are authorised to represent the school. Users invited by a school must follow these terms and the school's lawful rules. Any separately signed service agreement governs where it expressly varies these terms.
2. Accounts and school responsibilities
School workspaces must be created and administered by an adult with appropriate authority. Student accounts, including accounts for children, must be provisioned and supervised by the school with any parent or guardian authorisation required by law.
Provide accurate information, keep credentials private, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. Administrators are responsible for assigning appropriate permissions, checking parent-child links, removing access when a person leaves, and ensuring staff only access records needed for their duties. Do not share accounts or use someone else's credentials.
The school is responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of its attendance, academic, health, safeguarding, staff and financial records. Sckool360 supports school operations; it does not replace the school's professional judgment or statutory duties.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for legitimate school administration, learning and related communication within your authorised role. You must not:
- Access another school's data, bypass permissions, impersonate a person, or attempt to defeat billing or security controls.
- Upload malicious software, interfere with availability, scrape private records, or test security without permission.
- Post unlawful, abusive, discriminatory or exploitative material, or use the Service to harass or endanger a child or other person.
- Upload material you lack permission to use, disclose confidential records to unauthorised people, or manipulate attendance, marks or payment evidence.
- Resell access or use the Service to send unsolicited advertising.
Report suspected misuse through your school administrator or Sckool360 support. Confidential reporting tools are not an emergency service. For immediate danger, use the appropriate emergency or safeguarding channel.
4. Plans, subscriptions and payments
Available features, capacity, prices, currency and subscription periods are shown in the plan selection, checkout or agreed school quotation. Demo access has limits and may not include all paid features. Parents do not count toward paid user capacity under the current pricing model; student and staff capacity is determined by the selected band.
Paid access may depend on both an active school subscription and available account capacity. Unpaid, expired or excess-capacity accounts may have restricted access. Changes to future pricing or plan terms will be communicated before they apply to a renewal or new purchase; an existing paid period is governed by its agreed purchase terms.
Online subscription payments are processed through the payment provider presented at checkout, currently Paystack. Keep payment references and contact support about failed, duplicate or disputed charges. Refund requests are reviewed against the purchase terms, service supplied and applicable law. These terms do not remove any mandatory refund or consumer rights.
School fees, salaries and other amounts recorded by a school are distinct from its Sckool360 subscription. The school is responsible for those charges, payment verification, refunds and related disputes. Recording a payment in Sckool360 is not, by itself, proof that funds settled.
5. School content and privacy
You and your school retain your rights in the records, files and other content you provide. You grant Sckool360 permission to store, process, transmit and display that content only as needed to operate the Service, follow authorised instructions and meet legal obligations.
The school must have a lawful basis for supplying personal information, provide appropriate notices, and obtain consent where required, especially for children's or sensitive information. Upload only information needed for the intended purpose. Access to health, staff and confidential reporting records must remain limited to authorised people.
Our Privacy Policy describes data handling and privacy requests. Accepting these terms does not replace any separate consent required for optional processing.
6. Platform ownership and external services
Sckool360 and its licensors retain rights in the software, design, branding and platform materials. Your subscription permits authorised use of the Service; it does not transfer ownership. Do not copy, distribute or reverse engineer the platform except where applicable law permits it.
Third-party payment, sign-in and linked resource services have their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability is outside our direct control. Schools must ensure uploaded books, curriculum documents, assessment materials and other resources are properly licensed.
7. Availability and operational limits
We may update the Service and perform maintenance. Access can be affected by outages, connectivity, hosting limitations or third-party services. Features depend on your plan and deployment configuration. Unless separately agreed in writing, these terms do not promise uninterrupted service or a specific service level.
Review outputs before using them for decisions about a student, employee or payment. Simulated location data and demo features must not be treated as verified physical attendance. Retain appropriate independent copies of critical school records using available export or support channels.
8. Suspension, closure and retained records
We may restrict access to address non-payment, a security incident, unlawful activity or a material breach of these terms. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and allow the issue to be resolved. Immediate restriction may be necessary to protect users or records.
A school administrator may disable individual accounts. An authorised school representative can contact support about ending its subscription, closing the workspace or obtaining records. Request any needed exports before access ends.
Disabling an account or archiving a school does not automatically erase its records. School records, financial history and audit information may remain subject to the school's instructions, retention duties, legal holds and the Privacy Policy. Closing access does not cancel amounts already due or override legal privacy rights.
9. Responsibility and liability
Each party is responsible for its own actions and obligations under applicable law. Schools remain responsible for educational, employment, safeguarding and financial decisions made using the Service.
To the extent permitted by law, Sckool360 is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate school-supplied information, misuse of authorised accounts, or failures of services outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility for fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Nigerian law, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you elsewhere or a separately signed agreement. Contact support first so we can investigate a concern. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it may be brought before a court with lawful jurisdiction. You retain the right to contact a competent regulator or seek any remedy available under applicable law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the Service or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel, such as an in-app notice or email to the school administrator, before taking effect where required. We will obtain renewed agreement when required by law or the nature of the change.
12. Contact and support
For platform, subscription or account concerns, email starheadtechenterprise@gmail.com or use the in-app support channel. For marks, school fees, attendance or school decisions, contact your school administrator first. Include your school name and a brief description, but do not email passwords or unnecessary sensitive records.
